Medicare, explained plainly.

Advantage, Supplement, and Part D โ€” in plain English, from a licensed Florida agent. We compare what's available in your area and help you enroll. There's no cost to you; carriers pay us, not you.

Medicare has four parts.

Here's what each one actually covers.

A

Hospital Insurance

Inpatient hospital stays, skilled nursing facility care, hospice, and some home health care.

B

Medical Insurance

Doctor visits, outpatient care, preventive services, durable medical equipment, and some home health.

C

Medicare Advantage

An alternative way to get Parts A & B (often bundled with Part D) through a private, Medicare-approved carrier โ€” often with extra benefits.

D

Prescription Drugs

Standalone or bundled prescription drug coverage through a private, Medicare-approved carrier.

Medicare Supplement ("Medigap") is separate: a private policy that helps pay costs Original Medicare (A+B) doesn't cover โ€” it cannot be paired with Medicare Advantage.

When you can enroll or make changes.

Turning 65

Initial Enrollment Period

A 7-month window centered on your 65th birthday (3 months before, your birthday month, and 3 months after) to enroll for the first time.

Oct 15 โ€“ Dec 7

Annual Enrollment Period

Switch Medicare Advantage or Part D plans, or move between Original Medicare and Advantage, for coverage starting January 1.

Jan 1 โ€“ Mar 31

Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment

Already in a Medicare Advantage plan? You can switch to a different Advantage plan or drop back to Original Medicare once during this window.

Special Enrollment Periods also exist for qualifying life events โ€” losing employer coverage, moving, or losing Medicaid eligibility, among others.

One conversation. Real comparisons.
